Kurz vor unserer Ankunft hatte es erst geregnet. Es war schwül und warm (ca. 23°C). Die Lufttemperatur lag ca. 8°K unter der Temperatur an der Küste. Vom Parklatz mit Infohütte des Nationalparks hatten wir dann einen 20minütigen Abstieg zur Kupa-Quelle (250 Höhenmeter). Die Quelle entspringt unterirdisch und fördert dabei min . 1200 Liter Wasser pro Sekunde bei 7 Grad Wassertemperatur. Ab der Quelle gab es am Flusslauf einen feinen Wassernebel. Der 45minütige Aufstieg zurück zum Parkplatz war bei schwüler und warmer Luft sehr schweißtreibend.

Es gibt eine schlechte Zufahrtsstaße nach Razloge, die 8km lang ist (Höchstgeschwindigkeit: 30km/h).
