Nach der Fahrt durch das Tal der Altenau begegnet uns in Schöppenstedt der Schalk Till Eulenspiegel mit einem eigenen Museum. Auf Tills Taufweg geht es weiter Richtung Elm, als Höhenzug bekannt aus (fast) jedem Kreuzworträtsel. Am Elmrand wird es steil. Die Mühe wird aber mit einem herrlichen Ausblick in die "Toskana des Nordens" sowie zum Harz belohnt. Auf dem Rückweg laden schließlich noch einige kleine Orte wie Erkerode oder Lucklum zu näherer Betrachtung ein.
