Von Windhaag über Grünbach Unterrauchenödt bis Wartberg bei St. Oswald. Bei der 1000 jährigen Fichte zum Wanderweg auf den Braunberg, danach rechts bis man wieder auf den Wanderweg trift weiter auf Asphalt bis zum letzten Bauernhaus danach auf sehr steilem Forstweg zur Braunberghütte. Über Witzelsberg, March, Neudorf und Amesreit weiter Richtung Sandl. Achtung Abzweigung auf Wiesenweg links Richtung Steinwald( Weg nicht auf Topo Austria eingezeichnet). Weiter über Rottenbachl Spörbichl wieder nach Windhaaag
