Von Seeboden aus geht es leicht steigend die gut ausgebaute Trefflingerstraße nach oben. Nach dem Durchfahren von Treffling, folgt man der Straße in Richtung Gmünd. Dieser Streckenabschnitt führt über recht schlechten Asphalt in welligem Profil bis Gmünd. Von Perau aus hat man vor der Abfahrt einen netten Ausblick. Ab Gmünd führt die, leider stark befahrene aber gut ausgebaute, Bundesstraße 99 nach Seeboden retour.
