Es geht los in Kiefersfelden, das Gießenbachtal entlang. Hinter den Oberaudorfalmen geht es den Nesselgraben hinuter und auf der anderen Seite das Klooascherbachtal hinauf, rüber in den Elendgraben und zwischen Pfannkobel und Berneck hinauf bis fast zum Rotwandhaus. Zwischen Auerspitz und Rotwand geht es dann hinuter zum Soinsee und weiter nach Geitau.
