Gestartet wird vom Waldparkplatz in Gummeroth. Mit dem Wanderweg A5 geht es leicht bergan in den Wald. Über Wald- und Wiesenwege wandern wir Richtung Wegescheid. Hier überqueren wir die L307 und gehen weiter durch Mischwald. Unterwegs bietet sich immer wieder eine tolle Aussicht über das Bergische Land. Bevor wir Berghausen erreichen, schwenken wir hinter einer Hochspannungsleitung links hinab nach Nochen. Dort müssen wir ca. 200 m der Landstraße (L98) folgen, bevor es rechts hinauf wieder in den Wald geht. Nun wandern wir durch Wald und über Wiesen wieder zurück nach Gummeroth. Hier bietet sich als Einkehrmöglichkeit das urige Bauernhofcafe an.

Von BAB 4 kommend, AS Wiehl/ Gummersbach auf die B256 in Richtung Marienheide. Nach ca. 8 km (3. Kreuzung) links Richtung Gummeroth. Weiter der Beschilderung folgen. In Gummeroth in der Ortsmitte links der Straße "Lindenau" folgen bis zum Waldparkplatz.
