Die Tour führt von Hedersdorf auf einem Feldweg und auf einer schmalen Straße am Osternoher Bach entlang hinauf zum Naturfreudehaus und von dort über Wanderwege zur Schermshöhe. In weitem Bogen geht es hinüber zum Hohenstein, von dort hinunter ins Sittenbachtal und über den Höhenzug zum Rothenberg. Von dort geht es entlang der Skipiste bei bester Aussicht zurück nach Schnaittach.
