Start in Königstein Falkenstein
Wir sind die Route zuerst auf den Hauptwander-/ Waldwegen zum Fuchstanz und weiter zur Weißen Mauer (kleines Felsenmeer) gelaufen. Zu Beginn kleiner Abstecher zum Lis-Tempel (Aussichtsturm).
Ab der Weißen Mauer wird die Strecke interessanter mit kleinen Wegen und Steigen hinauf zum Altkönig und ebenso wieder hinunter zum Parkplatz zurück. Die Strecke zurück kreuzt an 2 Stellen den Hinweg.
Insbesondere der zweite Teil ist landschaftlich auch sehr ansprechend; hier wird aber festes Schuhwerk und Trittsicherheit empfohlen (evtl. auch Stöcke).
Wird die Route in umgekehrter Richtung gelaufen, kann man am Fuchstanz gut einkehren und rasten.
