Start ist in Achern am Rathaus,wir folgen der B3 Richtung Sasbach. In Sasbach geht es am Kreiverkehr rechts weg Richtung Obersasbach,danach links Richtung Lauf. Hinter dem Schlecker geht es dann rechts rein und nun beginnt der Aufstieg hoch zum Mummelsee. Am Mummelsse geht es weiter Richtung Ruhestein,dort angekommen biegt man rechts ab Richtung Allerheiligen. Jetzt geht es nur noch bergab außer ein paar kleinen Wellen zwischendurch kommt kein größerer Anstieg mehr. Wer lust und laune hat kann vor Oppenau links abbiegen und hoch zur Zuflucht fahren (dort ist die D-Tour 2007 hochgefahren,3.Etappe Pforzheim-Offenburg). Ansonsten geht es durch das Renchtal Richtung Oberkirch. Von Oberkirch geht es ein bißchen wellig Richtung Achern.

Achern ist über die A5,Ausfahrt 53 zu erreichen,Parken kann man am WE direkt am Rathaus,am WE kostet das parken nichts. Wer unter der Woche fährt parkt am besten am Bahnhof sein Auto,dort gibt es kostenfreie Parkplätze.
