Die Strecke führt von Sarnthein über die Asphaltstraße zur Skihütte, von dort zuerst in Richtung Auener Alm und dann über einen traumhaften Trail nach Öttenbach und von dort auf die Öttenbacher Alm. Schnell ist man in Meran 2000 (Skigebiet), nach etwas mehr als drei Kilometern ist man da. Von hier geht es in einem leichten Auf und Ab hinunter nach Falzeben, dem Ausgangpunkt der Bergbahnen ins Skigebiet. Über die Straße geht es hinunter nach Hafling und von dort über die Straße nach Meran.
