Der aufgezeichnete Track von Weißenfels nach Dorndorf führt zwischen Bad Kösen und Saalburg abweichend vom steilen Saaleradweg über eine nahezu steigungsfreie Strecke.

Anfahrt vom Süden: A9-Ausfahrt 25 Hermsdorf Süd => Landstraße Trotz > Mertendorf > Wetzdorf > Steudnitz => B88 halblinks bis Dorndorf, Parkplatz vor Rewe.
Anfahrt vom Norden: A9-Ausfahrt 22 Eisenberg => B7 Richtung Jena bis Trotz => rechts auf Landstraße Richtung Camburg/Wetzdorf > Wetzdorf > Steudnitz => B88 halblinks bis Dorndorf, Parkplatz vor Rewe.
