Vom Bahnhof aus über die geteerte, aber mässig befahrene Strasse Richtung Schweinsdorf, ab km 7,5 wird's rauher und einsamer. Pure Waldluft geniessen bis kurz vor Windelsbach, kurzes Stück Landstrasse, dann wieder ab in die Wälder, ab Kilometer 22 wird es kurz steil. Bei Kilometer 25 runter zum Karrachsee, ein kleines Paradies auf Erden. Von dort aus geht's fast nur noch bergab Richtung Taubertal, in Gebsattel empfehle ich das Gasthof Lamm zum einkehren. Nach Sankt Leonhard rein ins Taubertal bis zum Topplerschlösschen, dann wieder steil bergauf Richtung Rothenburg.
