Von Tettau über die Frankenwaldhochstraße und auf aussichtsreichen Nebenstrecken zur Talsperre Mauthaus bei Nordhalben. Dann weiter ins Tal über Steinwiesen und Kronach nach Küps mit kurzer Einkehr. ( Am Ortsausgang Küps Richtung Kronach ist links eine Top Adresse für eine Kurze Rast. "Coburger Rostbratwurst" Dort gibt es Staeks und Bratwürste vom Grill und alles andere für das leibliche Wohl, nebst hausgemachten Wurstspezialitäten ) Nach der Stärkung gings weiter auf den Höhen von Ziegelerden und Gehülz nach Fürth am Berg und Sonneberg. Dann aufwärts nach Jagdshof und kurvenreich abwärts nach Pressig um von dort die Heimfahrt über Buchbach, Schauberg und Sattelgrund in Angriff zu nehmen.
