Es gibt mehrere Varianten um auf die Krinnenspitze zu kommen, eine davon startet in Nesselwängle an der Talstation der Nesselwängler Bergbahnen.
Zu beginnt quert man oft die Skipiste, passiert die Gipfelstation des oberen Schlepplifts und kämpft sich über steile Hänge hoch bis zur Krinnenspitze.
GPS-file behinhaltet nur die Aufstiegsspur, die Abfahrt kann auf dem Sommerweg erfolgen (schöne nordseitige Hänge) oder wie die Aufstiegsspur.
