This hiking tour takes you through the heart of Hadrian's Wall country, visiting the wall itself and several sights in the area. All together, the track takes you past the following sights: Once Brewed National Park Center, Vindolanda Roman Fort, Housesteads Roman Fort and Hadrian's Wall from Housesteads to Steel Rigg.
Along the wall you will come upon a lonely Sycamore Tree. This location is called "Sycamore Gap" and it is well known from Kevin Costner's "Robin Hood - King of Thieves".
Refreshments can be found at at the National Park Center, Vindolanda and Housesteads.
The track starts and ends at Steel Rigg car park.
