Ausgangspunkt ist der S-Bahhof Mainz-Kastel (S-Bahn und Parkplatz)
Eine schöne abwechselreiche Tour zunächst über die Theodor-Heuss-Brücke, dann auf ruhigen Straßen quer durch Mainz, am Hauptbahnhof und am Bruchwegstadion vorbei nach Mainz-Gonsenheim, durch den schönen Lennebergwald, dann in Budenheim auf dem neuen Weg (März 2013) im Steinbruch Budenheim/Mombach über den Golfplatz mit phantastischen Ausblicken. Weiter über den Fahrradweg der Autobahnbrücke nach Wiesbaden. Quer durch den Schlosspark Biebrich (Fahrräder auf diesem Weg erlaubt!) nach Biebrich zum Rheinufer, dann auf ruhigen Wege zurück nach Mainz-Kastel.
