Die Tour beginnt  und endet in der Dortmunder City. Busse und Bahnen im Gebiet des Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr können genutzt werden um den ein oder anderen Kilometer abzukürzen. Weitere Bahnhöfe auf dem Weg gibt es in Gelsenkirchen, Bottrop, Wanne-Eickel, Herne und Bochum.
