Von Bad Saarow aus gehts am Ostufer nach Süden bis Radlow, hier ostwärts über Herzberg nach Birkholz auf kaum befahrenen Straßen bzw. Radwegen. Von Birkholz wieder nach Süden über Kohlsdorf, am Leipsee vorbei auf den Radweg an der B 87 nach Ranzig. Am Ortseingang nach links abbiegen, nach ca. 1 km gelangt man zur Spree, die mit einer von Muskelkraft bedienten Fähre überquert. Danach in Leissnitz nach rechts in Richtung Schwielochsee. Von dort gehts über Landstraßen nortwärts über Leissnitz und Kummerow nach Beeskow. Die dortige St. Marien Kirche wurde leider im II. Weltkrieg fast zerstört, was seit 1991 an Wiederaufbau geleistet wurde, ist wirklich beieindruckend. Ansonsten ist Beeskow eine für die Märksiche Schweiz typische verschlafene Kleinstadt. Von Beeskow gehts westwärts nach Bornow und von dort nach Birkholz. Von hier die gleiche Strecke zurück zum Scharmützelsee wie am Beginn der Tour.
