Geparkt wird vor der Dorfkirche in Georgsdorf direkt am Ufer das Kanal. Entlang der Uferstraße folgt man den 100 Jährigen Kanal mit einem Relative Naturbelassenden Ufer. An der Schleuse bietet eine Kleine Insel mit Bäumen angenehmen Raum zum Rasten. Information Tafel informieren über die Geschichte des Kanal und der Schleuse. Auf gleichen Weg wie gekommen geht es wieder zurück.
