Tagestour von Buchloe über Seeg nach Pfronten. Anschliessend auf dem Radweg ins Engetal und dort den Abzweig zur Ostlerhütte nehmen. Langer und steiler Anstieg hinauf zum Skigebiet Breitenberg. Dort links abbiegend Schiebestrecke zur Ostlerhütte - aufgrund der langen Distanz nochmal anstrengend (vor allem bei Mitführen von Übernachtungsgepäck). Bei schönem Wetter wird man mit einer traumhaften Aussicht belohnt. Übernachtungs- und Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten auf der Osterhütte vorhanden.
