Wegverlauf: Isenbergbach - Isenberg - Schulenberg - Bf. Hattingen - Dahlhausen - Bf. Essen-Horst
Steiler Anstieg auf den Isenberg, Abstieg zur Straße, mäßiger Anstieg auf den Schulenberg, Abstieg ins Ruhrtal. Die zweite Hälfte der Wanderung verläuft im Tal ohne große Höhenunterschiede. Vor Dahlhausen einige hundert Meter auf vielbefahrener Straße ohne Gehweg.

Hinfahrt: von Essen Hbf. mit S 9 und Buslinie 141 über Kupferdreh oder mit S 3 und Buslinie 141 über Hattingen bis Isenbergbach.
Rückfahrt: ab Essen-Horst mit S 3 nach Essen Hbf.
