Der breite Schotterweg führt größtenteils am See entlang und ist deshalb eben. Lediglich zwischen dem Damm zum kleinen Brombachsee und Ramsberg führt die Strecke abseits des Sees über einen kleinen Anstieg durch den Wald.
Einkehrmöglichkeiten gibt es in Enderndorf, Ramsberg und Allmansdorf.
Die Strecke eignet sich auch hervorragend zum Joggen oder Fahrradfahren.
