Von Maspalomas geht es auf Asphalt ins Hinterland und in die Höhe mit herrlichen Ausblicken in die Täler links und rechts. Nach 20 km geht die Tour auf Schotter weiter in die Höhe und später auf einem Trail weiter Richtung Cruz Grande.
Am höchsten Punkt der Tour kann man einen Abstecher zum Cruz Grande machen oder direkt die Abfahrt Richtung Stausee Ayarauges angehen. Bis dort geht es überwiegend auf einem Trail bergab bis Ayarauges. Dieses Stück ist technisch etwas anspruchsvoller. Von dort führt der Weg über Schotter mit meist geringer Steigung zurück nach Maspalomas.
