Streckenverlauf der Wanderung
Die Wanderung beginnt an der Wanderkarte in Mariental-Horst am Kühlhaus.
Von der Wanderkarte geht es zurück über die Landesstraße auf die andere Seite des Waldes. Zunächst auf einem Schotterweg und anschließend auf einem verwunschenen Pfad entlang der Bahnstrecke erreicht man Grasleben. Nach einem kurzen Stück durch ein Wohngebiet werden die Bahngleise überquert und es geht steil bergan vorbei am Altenheim in den Lappwald zurück. Zuerst am Hang und später an der ehemaligen Innerdeutschen Grenze entlang wird der Ausgangspunkt der Wanderung wieder erreicht.
