Eine Querung des unteren Gottesackers im Bereich über der Schneckenlochhöhle hatte ich schon länger im Auge. Eine Wanderroute kann hier offensichtlich eine wichtige Abkürzung bei diversen Touren in diesem Gebiet darstellen.
Das Gelände ist eher unschwierig und es gibt bestimmt noch mehr als die 2 von mir begangenen Varianten. Man geht, wo es die Vegetation zulässt. Es kann aber nicht schaden, sich das Gebiet vorher z.B. von der Sienspitze aus genau mit einem Fernglas anzusehen, da immer wieder kleinere, felsige Steilabbrüche zu umgehen sind.
