Streckenverlauf der Wanderung
Start der Wanderung ist am Maschstadion im Maschweg in Helmstedt.
Über Maschweg, Mozartstraße und Walbecker Straße wird Helmstedt in nördlicher Richtung verlassen. Vorbei an der Drillingskiefer führt der Weg zum Schafteich, wo Sie kurz innehalten sollten, um das Kleinod zu genießen. Weiter führt die Wanderung in Richtung Norden vorbei an Mariental Horst nach Grasleben mit dem Markgrafschen Hof. In den Sommermonaten bietet sich das Freibad für eine Pause und Abkühlung an. Die Schlussetappe der Tour führt über Heidwinkel und den nördlichen Lappwald zur Alten Schule nach Querenhorst.
