Vom Marktgemeindeamt in Engelhartszell auf der Sauwaldstraße hinauf bis zur ersten Kehre. Hier links weiter durch den Wald bis die Bundesstraße wieder erreicht wird. Am Waldrand links zum Panoramablick Moarfelsen. Jetzt entweder hinauf nach St. Ägidi oder zurück zur Bundesstraße, diese queren und auf dem Güterweg vorbei am Pamingerhof. Entlang des Waldrandes hoch zur nächsten Straße. Auf dieser rechts und im Wald hinunter zum Forellenzirkus. Vorbei am Panoramablick durch den Wald am Schluss steil hinunter zu einem weiteren Panoramaplatz und auf dem Donausteig nach Engelhartszell.
Die Strecke ist bestens bestens beschildert.
