Route: Rhododendronwald -Höhenfelder See
Prächtig bunt beginnt diese Wanderung zur Zeit der Rhododendrenblüte im den Monaten Mai/Juni. Sie führt dann um Dreiviertel des Höhenfelder Sees und auf dem Weg zur Haltestelle Waldbad am Gänseweiher, Dünnwalder Wildpark (Wisente, Schwarzwild) und einem kurzen Stück Mutzbach vorbei. Im Umkreis des Wildparks gibt es Holzschnitzkunst zu bewundern. Bis auf kurze Abschnitte am Gänseweiher und dem Ab- und Aufstieg zum Höhenfelder See laufen die Wege flach.
