Das Naturdenkmal Sösestein ist eine rund 10 Meter hohe freistehende Felsklippe und als Kletterfelsen beliebt. Vom Parkplatz Stieglitzecke aus geht es recht steil hinab in das Obere Sösetal, nach ein paar hundert Metern ist auch der Sösestein erreicht. In der Nähe ist auch die Hammersteinklippe, die einen Besuch wert ist.
Der Sösestein steht innerhalb eines dichten Waldareals und ist daher erst aus unmittelbarer Nähe zu sehen. Der Rundweg ist ein 5.8 Kilometer lang und führt entlang eines Flusses, durch schönen Wald und es gibt schöne Wildblumen und oftmals Wildtiere zu sehen.
