Vom Bf Kleve geht es stetig bergauf bis zur Stadtgrenze. Nach einer langen Abfahrt folgen noch zwei Anstiege (Kranenburg, Groesbeek). Am Flughafen Malden ist der Wendepunkt erreicht. Von hier geht es auf ebener Strecke neben den Gleisen der Draisinenbahn zurück zum Bahnhof Kleve.
