Es handelt sich bei der Tour um die 280-Kilometer-Runde des Albextrem-Radmarathons. Aufgrund einiger Sperrungen war die Runde heuer knapp 290 Kilometer lang.
Es geht teilweise recht steile Anstiege hoch und Abfahrten runter, oben auf der Alb rollt es aber auch ziemlich wellig dahin.
