4 Tagesetappen von Wien Richtung Süden über den Semmering.

Ende März ist diese Route gut machbar gewesen, dh bis auf wenige Ausnahmen (Rosseggerhaus) schneefrei. Zwischen der Pottschacher Hütte und der Waldburgangerhütte (3. Tag) ist einiges zu schieben. Sonst ist fast alles gut fahrbar mit wenigen technischen Herausforderungen.
