Falkenstein ist als Ort vom Arber Radmarathon bekannt. Die Tour kombiniert mit "Altdorf / Nbg. => Falkenstein" ergibt eine schöne Rennradrundtour die in weitem Bogen um Regensburg führt. Ein Abstecher nach Regensburg ist lohnenswert. Bei Bedarf kann hier die Tour auch mit dem Zug nach Neumarkt und weiter dann nach Nbg variiert / abgekürzt werden.
