Vom Langlaufparkplatz Markbuchen (St. Englmar) aus starten (gut ausgeschildert!).
Die HIrschensteinrunde lässt sich in 3 Versionen befahren - die hier gefahrene ist die längste (ca. 16km). Der Anstieg gleich zu Beginn (ca. 2,5km) ist nicht ohne und trennt die Spreu vom Weizen.
Gespurt ist für die klassische Technik - meist Doppelspurig - an wenigen, kurzen Stücken einspurig.
Die Loipe ist in der Regel top gepflegt.
