Die Tour von Bergfreiheit zum Wüstegarten hat einen gleichmässigen Anstieg.
Start ist am Parkplatz Bushaltestelle Bergfreiheit.
Am Gasthaus Urftal vorbei Richtung Süd und in den Hüttenweg abbiegen.
Nach der Urffbrücke den 1. Weg nach links.
Der Weg ist auf guten Forstwegen bis auf an 2 Stellen muß auf Pfaden gelaufen werden.
Die Aussicht vom 25 m hohen Aussichsturm ist bei schönem Wetter großartig.
Abwärts geht es an der Mausefalle und am Exhelmerstein vorbei Richtung Haddenberg, Fischbach und über den Damm des Bergwerkteichs nach Bergfreiheit.
