Von der Kugelmühle durch die Almbachklamm (viele Informationen dazu im www, z. B. http://www.berchtesgaden.de/de/almbachklamm-und-kugelmhle).
Gegangene Route abweichend vom "Normalweg" zunächst kurzer Anstieg nach rechts in Steingraben, dann rechts vom Almbach bis zum Auergraben. Dort scharf rechts auf einem schmalen, unter Laub im Herbst manchmal kaum erkennbaren Pfad Richtung Hinterettenberg. (Wir als Ortsfremde hätten den Pfad ohne GPS-Gerät kaum gefunden.) An der Kirche in Hinterettenberg rechts bergab auf dem Talgrabenweg zurück zur Almbachklamm.
