Erster Teil der Transalp vom Gardasee nach Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Vom Hotel Elisabetta in Torbole am Gardasee zur Albergo alla Posta in S. Antonio di Mavignola.
Etwa sechs Kilometer vor Madonna di Campiglio.
Beschreibung:
Die Strecke war bis 500 HM o.k., dann ging es über 1.350 m steil aufwärts. Die letzten 6 km vor dem Pass bestanden überwiegend aus Grobschotterpisten mit sehr starker Steigung. Davon habe ich ca. 5 km geschoben. (Hatte jedoch zwei Packtaschen am Rad). Auf dem Pass 1.860 HM war ich ziemlich fertig. Schreck! Die ersten 200 HM abwärts müssen wg. Geröll getragen und geschoben werden.
Aber dann ging die Post ab. Bis auf 1.100 HM Feinschotterpiste und Asphalt.
