Die ersten 100hm sind auf Asphalt. Von Pogöriach geht über Forstwege zuerst nahe dem Hundsmarhof vorbei, dann flach bis zur Skipiste oberhalb von Heiligengeist (auf 1000Hm) und von dort wieder steil zur Kaserin (1400Hm). Das letzte Stück aufwärts bis zum Ende der Alpenstrasse geht wieder über Asphalt bis auf 1740Hm. In diesem Track ist die Abfahrt über die Alpenstrasse drin -bis zu 80km/h mit Mtb, es gibt aber genügend Alternativen.
