It's early Autumn and I was looking for a sunday morning tour to test out my new Canyon Nerve XC and a Garmin Vista GPS. The tour took me over the hills to Bad Herrenalb and then back along the valley of the Alb river. This is a nice combination of uphill training and downhill speeding.
The scenery uphill is not all that inspiring, since you are in pine forrest pretty much the whole time. It is good to relax the mind and concentrate just on condition training. Downhill is more fun, since the trails are wide and straight and you travel along the path of the Alb.
Good for beginners. Lacking in fun single trails though.
