Der Saaleradweg ist super! Er ist gut ausgeschildert und führt einen durch immer wieder interessante Landschaft und Orte. Wir sind bis auf sehr wenige Ausnahmen genau auf dem ausgeschilderten Weg gefahren. In den Orten sind natürlich ein paar Abzweiger zum Cafe, zum Gasthaus, zum Hotel, zum Campingplatz , zur Sehenswürdigkeit etc..
Leider war das Wetter recht kalt (Höchsttemperaturen 8-12°C). Die Strecke lädt oft zum Verweilen ein mit Bänken und Rastplätzen.

Wir sind mit dem Mietwagen nach Magdeburg gefahren und sind an dem Tag noch bis auf einen Campingplatz gefahren. Von dort waren es noch ca. 20km bis zur Mündung. Der Track geht erst an der Mündung los.
