Von Wien an der Donau entlang bis Bratislava. Hochwasserbedingt mußte ein Teil der Strecke auf eiiner Alternativroute zum Donaudamm erfolgen.
Die weitere Stecke bis Esterom durch Ungarn und die Slowakei ist eher unspektakulär, und führt meist über wenig befahrene Landstraße.
Die Strecke von Esterom bis Budapest haben wir unfallbedingt mit dem Zug zurückgelegt, daher keine Treckaufzeichnung.
Die ersten 15 - 20 km aus Budapest raus würden wir, wegen des starken Autoverkehrs, das nächste Mal mit dem Zug zurücklegen.
Die weitere Strecke bis zum Plattensee wird immer schöner, am besten hat uns die Gegend am westlichen Plattensee gefallen
