Von Birkfeld nach Piregg und dann auf Schotterstraße durch die Elmleiten Richtung Fischbach. Abzweigen auf die Herrnalm (nur Forsthaus).Von dort auf Waldweg über den Knappensattel zum Strassegg. Einkehrmöglichkeit beim Strasseggwirt. Von dort über Haberlstall Richtung Plankogel und durch die Haslau zurück nach Birkfeld.
