Die Tour startet in Kussel am Schwimmbad, dort kann man gut Parken. Dann geht es über Waldwege und Singletrails und zum Schluß auf Asphalt auf und ab bis zum Hermannsdenkmal.
Von dort geht weiter, hauptsächlich auf dem Hermannsweg, zu den Externsteinen, die sind der Wendepunkt der Tour. Von den Externsteinen aus geht es zurück zum Ausgangspunkt, zum Teil auf dem Lönspfad. Der Trailanteil ist auf dem Rückweg geringer als auf dem Hinweg, jedoch sind die Anstiege zum Teil extremer als auf dem Hinweg, aber man kommt auch dort hoch.

Wir sind über die A2 aus Richtung Hannover gekommen und dann weiter auf der B66, bei Hellweg recht ab auf die L945 Richtung Detmold. Nach ca. 5 km rechts abbiegen auf L758, dann noch ca. 1,5 km zum Ziel - Freibad Fischerteich.
