Kanufahrtt auf der Weser ganzjährig mit allen Bootstypen machbar. Schöner Streckenabschnitt einer stets die Richtung wechselnden Weser. Die Weser fließt mit rund 5 km/h, den Rest muss man selber erpaddeln. Geübte Paddler rechnen mit 10 km/h für die Streckenplanung

Den Doppelort Lauenförde/Beverungen kann man von Ost (Solling) und West aus anfahren. Von Beverungen geht es durchs Wesertal zur Brücke bei Gieselwerder, dann wird die Seite gewechselt und Bursfelde angesteuert.
