Wir starteten die Wanderung in Trier am Hofgut " Maria Hof". Nach einem Schlenker durch den Mattheiser Wald wanderten wir das Bärenbachtal hinauf bis wir dann auf der Höhe schöne Weitblicke hatten. Bald hatten wir in der Ferne auch schon unser Ziel "Pellingen" im Blick. Aber es dauerte schon noch eine Weile, bis wir im Gasthaus Thiel unsere verdiente Mittagsrast hielten. Nach der Rast gingen wir dann zum Tiergartental. Hier ging es gemächlich bergab, doch war der Anstieg dann nach Maria Hof zu den Autos nochmal recht anstrengend.
