Die erste Etappe des Ruhrtalradweges sind wir von Winterberg nach Arnsberg gefahren. Also früh aufstehen, um mit dem Dortmund - Sauerlandexpress nach Winterberg zu fahren. Um 09:30 Uhr angekommen geht es direkt in die Pedalen. Zunächst eine Steigung, dann bergab, dann wieder eine Steigung und wir erreichen bergab rollend die Ruhrquelle. Das aus diesem Rinnsal mal ein Fluss wird ist für uns noch unvorstellbar. Hier machen wir natürlich, wie tausend andere vor uns, unser Erinnerungsfoto. Auf den nächsten 30 Kilometer bewältigen wir noch die ein oder andere kleine Steigung, bevor wir meist bergab rollend nach ca. 85 Kilometer unser Nachtquartier, das Dorint Hotel und Sportresort in Arnsberg Nehem, erreichen.
