    Der Hinweg ist fast kreuzungsfrei über die "HOAG"-Bahntrasse nach Walsum. Zurück geht es an der Kleinen Emscher.
    Alternativer Startpunkt ist der Parkplatz 3 am Stadion Niederrhein. Ab dort kann die Tour "pur" gefahren werden und ist nur ca. 22 km lang.
    Zwischen WP 4 + 7 gibt es noch eine Umleitung über die Von-Trotha- und Weierstraße.

    Den Weg durch die City OB sollte man sich sparen; entlang der B235 zwar Radweg, aber ätzend laut. Auch der Weg von OB Hbf zum Kanal in Lirich führt über Straßen. Daher ist die verkürzte Variante ob overflow-PArkplatz Stadion Niederrrhein empfehlenswert.
    Start- und Zielpunkt ist das Rathaus Oberhausen, etwa 500 m vom HBF entfernt.
    Der alternative Startpunkt ist Parkplatz 3 von RWO
