Die Tour beginnt in der City von Oberhausen und endet in der Innenstadt von Bochum. Der Hauptbahnhof Oberhausen liegt unweit des Tracks.
Unweit der Strecke befinden sich im Ruhrtal die Bahnhöfe Mülheim an der Ruhr, Kettwig, Werden, Kuperdreh, Stelle und Bochum-Dahlhausen. Auch Busse und Bahnen im Ruhrgebiet können genutzt werden um den ein oder anderen Kilometer abzukürzen.
