An der ersten Bushaltestelle in Acquacalda, von Lipari kommend links, auf einen fast zugewachsenen Steig bergauf. Stetig bergan bis zu einer Art Hochebene, dort zu einem Aussichtpunkt. Von dort wieder zurück und den Aufstieg zum Monte Pilato angehen. Auf dem Gipfel guter Rundblick auf die Nordhälfte von Lipari. Anschließend Abstieg nach Canneto, vorbei an der Gedenkstätte für die Bimssteinarbeiter.
