Es ist der Klassiker im Kaisergebirge und zugleich der Höchste Berg. Zustieg beginnt von der Gruttenhütte über den Gamsängersteig, teilweise ausgesetzt, steinschlaggefährdet aber stets in der Sonne.
Von der Absicherung muss man sagen, dass viele Stellen die eher ungefährlich sind abgesichert sind andere die es nötiger hätten nicht. Unbedingt Trittsicherheit und Schwindelfreiheit !!
